After a very long break, I really needs some kicking to get started working in the kitchen. Just something quick and easy to whip. This one is a good one and my children loves it.
150 g custard powder
400 g cream-style sweet corn (1 can)
225 g granulated sugar
150 ml santan (coconut cream)
650 ml water
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp vanilla essence or
2 screwpine leaves tied and knotted together
1. In a deep pan, put in all ingredients together and mix well.
2. Cook under medium heat until mixture thickens. Stir continously while cooking.
3. When mixture is really thick, turn off the heat.
4. Pour into moulds and leave to cool before serving.
